Te Akau’s 2010/2011 season was a successful and exciting one - and a tremendous season too for our owners! Te Akau had many highlights including Jason Bridgman recording seven black type wins in his first season as Te Akau New Zealand trainer.  Importantly too, Te Akau established its new stable in Singapore.  Our former Te Akau New Zealand trainer Mark Walker re-located to Kranji and has quickly made his mark there.  During his New Zealand career, Mark won five Trainers’ Premierships in just seven years and was named Dunstan Champion Trainer of the Year four times in six years.

Te Akau is committed to excellence and to bringing out the very best in your horse.  The 2010/11 season is one that we eagerly anticipate and we look forward to sharing the racing experiences and successes of it with you - welcome to Te Akau - it is a great team to be part of!

Te Akau Stud
(pictured below) provides a world class, 4000 acre environment for horses to be spelled, educated and pre-trained before they enter the rigours of the racing world. With stables now operating in both the North and South Island, Te Akau has the ability to place horses at all of the major racing carnivals in New Zealand and Australia.
The Matamata stable is ideally located in the heartland of New Zealand training establishments at Matamata. For many years our Matamata stable has been an outstanding source of winners.  Our South Island stable is situated at the Rangiora racecourse and is a brand new, purpose-built state of the art complex.  Our Singapore stable opened in September 2010.

We pride ourselves on our high level of communication with owners and clients of both the stable and the stud. Te Akau Racing Stables' owners have chosen a wonderful opportunity to become involved in racehorse ownership in the knowledge that their investment is in the care of totally professional management and staff. It’s easy to be part of the team, contact us now:
