Te Akau: Landed

Te Akau

After a lovely break, with our annual holiday behind us, we are ready for the new season ahead!

Yes we have returned home to Te Akau Stud - write David and Karyn.

After a nine hour flight back to Auckland today, we visited David's mother Joan and then stocked up the pantry before heading back to Te Akau Stud - on the way dropping Lydia off at a University where she was conducting interviews as part of her Masters' study.

It was a lovely break which flew past - it was wonderful to have the company of (at various times) our daughters Sarah, Lydia and Julia. Now that we are home, we are looking forward to getting well and truly stuck into our new season with Jason at Matamata, Mark in Singapore and Gus at Rangiora.  The new season will be a hugely exciting one, and one that we are eagerly looking forward to.

There will be a lot happening in coming weeks - Jason and David will hit the southern and lower North Island roads in August (more on that soon), we have the upcoming South Island Sale and of course we can't wait to see the first of our impressive teams of triallists step out as Spring racing beckons.

Plenty indeed to look forward to - and you will be able to keep up with all of the news, events and happenings right here on this website which will soon feature our domestic and international operations.  Stay tuned!!
